December "I've Got a Secret"
Who am I and what’s my secret?
In 1976 I joined the northern leg of the Bicentennial Wagon Train, riding my horse from Ft. Atkinson to State Fair Park. Six days of riding,30-40 miles/day,camping at a park or fairgrounds each night. Some smaller towns set out lunch spreads for the riders. Our last rest stop before West Allis was at what was then the Lake Geneva Playboy Club. They put us downwind!
Answer: Jayne Bachmann Larson
December "Trivia" answer
The Milwaukee Sanitorium was the name of the "special" building that was on Dewey Hill overlooking the village of Wauwatosa. Currently called Aurora Psychiatric Hospital.
January 2021 Trivia question
What was the team (name/city) that we lost to in the State Basketball tournament and kept us out of the finals?
